Olbas Oil is an inhalant decongestant used to relieve nasal and bronchial congestion associated with colds, catarrh, hay fever, and minor airway irritation. It releases strong aromatic vapours that help clear blocked noses and support easier breathing, while also providing a warming effect when used externally for muscular aches and stiffness. The liquid oil formulation contains a blend of active plant oils: cajuput oil 18.5% w/w, clove oil 0.1% w/w, eucalyptus oil 35.45% w/w, juniper berry oil 2.7% w/w, levomenthol 4.1% w/w, methyl salicylate 3.7% w/w, and partly dementholised mint oil 35.45% w/w. These ingredients work together to provide aromatic vapour relief and external soothing effects. Suitable for short-term use as directed, Olbas Oil is commonly used for blocked nose, sinus congestion, catarrh, hay fever symptoms, and cold-related stuffiness.
